Letting Go
By: Kara Aleece
$1,000
Letting go of bad things can be just as hard or harder than enjoying good things. The beauty of good tends to evaporate quickly, while negative notions seem to have helium and stick-to-itiveness. We have to mentally and physically let them go… so we can be free. “I have the hardest time letting people go,” explains the artist. “I painted this and each balloon to symbolize the act of letting go. There are things I still hold onto though, but I am forever a work in progress.”
